Having been bound and tortured by Irish gangsters, an amnesiac Peter Petrelli meets a feisty woman named Caitlin… Learning of Kaito Nakamura’s murder, Noah recalls another of Isaac’s prophetic paintings; meanwhile, Matt is brought in to investigate the killing, and meets Ando, who witnessed the murder of his friend’s father… Intrigued by the healing power of lizards, Claire conducts an experiment of her own… In an attempt to keep history on track, Hiro is forced to don Kaito Nakamura’s armour; taking his hero’s place, Hiro saves the beautiful Yaeko from the Samurai gang that have captured her father, the man who forged the Godsend sword… In Hartsdale, New York, Mohinder begins his work for the Company; sent to Haiti to retrieve a man suffering from the specials’ plague, he discovers the victim is the mysterious Haitian man… Maya and Alejandro turn to a friend for help in crossing the Mexican border – but then Maya’s powers go out of control once more… Rediscovering his powers, Peter manages to free himself; when he saves Caitlin from a rape attack by a rival gang, her brother offers Peter a chance to learn who he is… Having cured the Haitian, Mohinder sends his patient to join Noah in California as part of their secret plan to recruit the heroes… After Matt brings in Angela Petrelli for questioning, the woman is attacked in her cell by an unseen assailant… Hiro watches helplessly as Kaito Nakamura is apparently killed in an ambush by the Samurai warriors…
