'Angel and Faith': 'Live Through This' (Part 3) by Christos Gage

Continuing their investigation into the source of the Mohra blood, Angel and Faith call on a former colleague of Giles’, Alasdair Coames. As Angel leaves to follow up a lead, Faith receives a call from her Slayers, informing her that Nadira is in the middle of a barroom brawl. Having dealt with the drunken Nadira, Faith discovers that Coames has followed her: he brings a warning about Angel’s plan to resurrect Giles, and information on an illegal auction of Mohra blood. Posing as rich buyers, Angel and Faith infiltrate the auction and rescue the captive Mohra; but then the plan goes wrong: the Mohra kills itself, a fight breaks out – and then Pearl and Nash arrive on the scene…
